Spring Is In The Air
It's been a great winter for the outdoor enthusiast. The North Country has had a lot of snow and there is still plenty of time to snowshoe, cross country ski, downhill or start up the snowmobile The Tug Hill region is bursting with activities. BUT, spring is just around the corner. Maple Syrup weekends are planned for March 16th and 17th and March 23rd and 24th. The Irish Festival in Watertown is March 16th, 17th, and 18th, and the Adam's Arbor Day Celebration is planned for April 5th. So nothing can stop spring from arriving. This is a great time to visit the North Country and partake in our traditions.

Late Winter and Early Spring Fun
There is still plenty of snow for winter fun. There are trails for cross country skiiers and snowshoers nearby on the Tug Hill along with many miles of trails for snowmobiling. Dry Hill and Snow Ridge are conveniently located for our visitors. Both offer downhill skiing and tubing. There is public ice skating at the local Watertown arena. This is a great time of year to gather for a friends weekend or spend some quality time with a loved one. It's also a perfect time to visit museums or galleries. If you like hockey, we have a local team called the Privateers that have games in Watertown just 8 miles away. There's lots to do in the North Country. There are events ready to welcome spring, too! Come visit our local maple producers as they produce their sweet and delicious syrup. If you like everything Irish, you will love the Irish Fest in Watertown on March 16, 17 and 18. Lots of great food and entertainment. In April Adams will celebrate Arbor Day on the 5th. Come to the North Country and welcome the spring!
Watertown has fantastic shopping and is just ten minutes from the Lodge. We have the Pyramid Mall, Kohls Plaza, Pier I, TJ Maxx and more. Merchants in the area are ready for the holiday season. There are many quaint shops to visit in the area. The Syracuse Destiny Mall is about 50 minutes from us. Spend a day shopping in the 5th largest mall in America and then come back to the Lodge for a peaceful and restful evening. If shopping isn't for you, we will check out the events in our area prior to your visit.
