A Time for Giving Thanks, A Time for Gathering Together

The remnants of summer are  fond memories.  It is now the season of giving thanks and gathering together to celebrate the season.  Here at the Lodge we are preparing for the upcoming holidays.  The leaves have fallen and the sky here is laiden with beautiful clouds and beautiful sunsets of autumn.  The geese are still here making theirselves known as they fly over the Lodge.  Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to be in the North Country.  It is the perfect time to share with family and friends.  The air is brisk and refreshing, offering the perfect opportunity for a walk on a fine autumn day.  We have many places to walk or hike in our area.  There are also many craft fairs, great places to shop, and a warm fire waiting in the Lodge.  So come and visit with us and see all the North Country has to offer.  We are looking forward to sharing the holidays with you.

Autum in the North Country
For the outdoor enthusiast, there is four wheeling on the Tug Hill Plateau and beautiful nature walks within a few miles of the Lodge.   This time of year there are many craft fairs and local shops offering holiday promotions.  If you like hockey, we have a new semi-professional team called the Watertown Wolves.  Their arena is just 8 miles north of us.  Our local wineries are still open for business.  Many of our guests plan a wine tour.  We can  help you with your plans.  When you visit the Lodge we will always have information on what is going on in our area.

There are many restaurants in our area that offer delicious dining experiences.

Watertown has fantastic shopping and is just ten minutes from the Lodge.  We have the Pyramid Mall, Kohls Plaza, Pier I, TJ Maxx and more.   There are many quaint villages nearby that have unique shops to find that special treasure you have been looking for.  The Syracuse Destiny Mall is about 50 minutes from us.  Spend a day shopping in the 5th largest mall in America and then come back to the Lodge for a peaceful and restful evening.  If shopping isn't for you, we will check out the events in our area prior to your visit.

Honeyville Manor is the proud recipient of the 2011 Small Business of the Year award by the South Jeff Chamber of Commerce.
